 Tornado Recovery Efforts

October 1, 2018. Recovery efforts are underway in the wake of last week’s devastating tornadoes in the Ottawa-Quebec region. We are pleased at the overwhelming and immediate response from the insurance community.

SPECS Appraisers are already on the ground and assisting with assessment of the damage, and more will be dispatched as needed. Working together as a team, we are determined to see these communities returned to normal as quickly as possible.

Storm picture-1On Friday, May 4th, a severe wind storm, with gusts up to 120 km/hr, ripped through Southern Ontario, leaving a path of destruction in it’s wake. Over 100,000 homes were left without power due to downed trees and hydro poles. Tragically, three fatalities occurred as a result of the storm. More
