B.C. Wildfire: SPECS is here to help
While property owners affected by last year's wildfires in Fort McMurray, Alberta have just started to rebuild their lives, another major wildfire event is unfolding in Western Canada – this time in beautiful British Columbia.
Our thoughts go out to the more than 14,000 people currently affected by these newest wildfires, with many having been forced to leave their homes and businesses.
Fortunately, the news coming back indicates that the most recent evacuations of residents living in 100 Mile House, Princeton, the Village of Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Little Fort, Williams Lake and nearby communities have been completed safely, without injury or loss of life.
As in the past 3 major wildfire catastrophes, SPECS is ready to assist insurers and property owners by providing timely and accurate assessment of damage, so that the process of returning to normal life can be accelerated. Our Catastrophe Team can be on the ground within a matter of hours, responding to your needs.
If you require more information or assistance, please contact any of our offices in B.C., or call our emergency toll free line at 1-844-262-1836.
