About

Dave Wallace is President of SPECS. He founded the company in 1995 and for the past twenty-four years, he has grown the organization from its roots as a small market player in Edmonton, Alberta to its current position as a trusted industry leader with a continually expanding national footprint. 

SPECS was built on David’s firm belief that the industry could benefit greatly from an impartial group of highly-specialized consultants with deep construction and restoration knowledge. Over the years SPECS has been successful in assembling a sizable team of certified engineers, construction specialists, estimators, and appraisers, and is now the largest consulting firm of its kind in Canada.

Initially SPECS services were centered around insurance loss assessment but have grown and evolved to include expertise in large construction project administration, risk management, facility services and large scale catastrophe response. 

As President, Dave is responsible for nurturing the corporate culture, providing vision for the growth of the company, and ensuring that SPECS values (Ethics – Excellence – Value – Teamwork) are the foundations of every decision we make.

Our ongoing commitment is to deliver the highest levels of quality and service, while ensuring that our clients’ needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded. To achieve this we have established precise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) supported by an industry leading file management system, allowing us to customize our service delivery in accordance with client specific metrics.
