Grande Prairie, AB – SPECS Limited is looking to hire an Appraiser. This is one of SPECS most critical positions to fill. Qualifications include: someone who is strong with technology and can provide support to our team in Grande Prairie. The ideal candidate has a degree from a technical school, an understanding of estimating software and can navigate a computer. The person must commit to live in Grande Prairie for 3 years plus. Ideally the person will take over the branch in 3 years’ time and operate as the branch manager.
Quebec Sales – SPECS is hiring a person for the role of Sales & Marketing in the Quebec region. Ideally this candidate is already well established in the Insurance Industry in Quebec. This is a part-time position and will be compensated by a commission focused package. SPECS is targeting someone who is looking to transition to retirement or looking for part time hours. The candidate must be bilingual.
Burlington, ON Technical Large Loss- SPECS is now hiring for the position of Technical Large Loss Building Consultant in our Technical Division located in Burlington, ON. The Technical Building Consultant will be responsible for assessing post-loss property damages on complex commercial and industrial buildings. Advanced knowledge and experience in complex construction projects is required. At least 10 years experience in the construction industry is mandatory, however we will consider fewer years if the candidate has a PQS designation, technical school degree or a degree in architecture, construction or engineering. Specialization in any of the following areas is preferred: oil & gas, forestry, shipping, mining, and energy systems.
Edmonton, AB HR Administrator- SPECS is seeking an experienced Human Resource professional to work in the Edmonton Head office as a HR administrator. The position will involve on-boarding administration, health benefits and other various functions.
